Hello, I am your new Chief of Police, James Donovan. I am honored to serve with the men and women of your Police Department. The Department is made up of dedicated individuals each of whom has sworn an oath to protect your life and property and enforce the laws of the Commonwealth.    I am proud to say that I have lived in Raynham my whole life. I have always been impressed by the professionalism of the Raynham Police officers, the way they conducted their duties, their dedication to not only their job but to the people they serve. Not until I actually became a member of the Raynham Police Department did I learn and appreciate the extent of our loyalty to and admiration of the members of our community and the respect and support we receive in return. There’s no place else I’d rather be. As peace officers we must constantly adapt to the situations and circumstances around us. The tools we use might change but our duty to keep the peace and protect life and property has always remained the same. We welcome you to the Raynham Police Department website.
