Arrest for Bank Robbery of Citizenís Bank

Nicholas Teceno age 30 of Everett Street Middleboro, MA.

Nicholas Teceno was arrested Friday night by Raynham and Middleboro detectives for the bank robbery of Citizenís Bank inside the Stop & Shop in Raynham on Tuesday October 1st. Teceno is being held on $25000.00 bail.

Arrest for Breaking and Entering, Larceny, Possession of Burglarious Instruments on Thursday 9/26/13.

Christopher Hays age 27 of Raynham was arrested after neighbors reported to police that he was observed coming out of the woods carrying copper pipes shortly before 9:30 AM.He ran when the resident confronted him.Chief Donovan and the Raynham canine tracked him and eventually located and arrested him.A house on the other side of the wood line had been burglarized and copper piping had been stolen from the home. Officer Russell Berry conducted the initial investigation and charged Hays.


Arrest for Unarmed Robbery/Destruction of Property on 9/23/13.

Shane J. Hardy age 22 of Berkley, MA was arrested for unarmed robbery after a purse snatching incident that occurred in the Walmart parking lot at 8:15 PM. Witnesses provided a description of the vehicle involved and Berkley Police stopped the vehicle. Officer Fitch of the Raynham Police made the arrest.

Arrest for Unarmed Robbery of Person over 65 YOA


JOHN J NORKAWSKI III age 24 of Taunton, MA was arrested Wednesday night 08/21/2013 for unarmed robbery of a person over 65 YOA and unarmed robbery resulting from an incident that had taken place at the Raynham Market Basket parking lot on Broadway in Raynham the prior night.He was held on $1040.00 bail and transported to the Ash Street Jail in New Bedford, MA.



Armed Robbery Dunkin Donuts

Wednesday August 14, 2013 8:30PM



Suspect entered through the drive through window, had a black hand gun, took money out of the drive through drawer and ordered employees to get on the ground.  Description of suspect is a white or Hispanic male. around 5' 8" tall. Suspect wore a grey zip up sweatshirt, dark jeans and shoes and a black mask covering his face with only his eyes showing.


The Raynham Police are investigating the possibility that recent armed robberies of Dunkin Donuts in other towns are related as well.



Local Information

Robbery Sunday 4/28/2013 Save More Gas Rt. 44 and Hill Street

On Sunday 4/28/2013 shortly before 5:00 PM a lone male robbed the Save More Gas Store located on Rt. 44 and Hill Street.  Video shows that the suspect was a white male (possibly Hispanic), approximately 5'10" tall.  He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and white sneakers.  He was also wearing a gray baseball cap with sunglasses on top of the cap.  He had a red bandana pulled up over his nose, masking the lower half of his face.  The black hooded sweatshirt had a white lining inside of it.  The hood was not pulled over his head.  No weapon was shown.

Investigation revealed that a vehicle was used and parked a short distance away.  The vehicle was described as a black 2010 Mazda CX7 or something similar.  Any information or possible leads please contact the Raynham Police Detective Division @ 508-824-2717.


Arrest Failure to comply with DNA Database Submission

Raynham Detectives Donnelly and Reilly assisted the Mass State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Unit in arresting Michael Stephanian age 57 of Bally Drive in Raynham. Stephanian was arrested for failing to provide a DNA sample to the DNA Database under Mass General Laws Chapter 22E Section 11.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Fatal Accident Raynham

On Monday April 8th at 7:40 PM Richard Mathers Jr. age 57 of South Easton was killed in a collision on Broadway by the Raynham Dog Track.  Mr. Mathers was riding his motorcycle when it collided with a vehicle driven by Emilios Karakostas age 64 of Canton, MA. The collision is still being investigated by Traffic Accident Reconstruction officer Anthony Barbour and Officer Brendon Hallisey.

Armed Home Invasion 1305 North Main Street


On Wednesday March 6th at 1:34 PM Raynham Police received a 911 call of a disturbance between the resident and others which was actually an armed home invasion in progress at 1305 North Main Street located inside the Chestnut Farms Complex in Raynham.Chief Donovan, his canine Bear, and other officers responded to the call.Chief Donovan spotted two suspects shortly after his arrival.One of the suspects complied and submitted to arrest.The other suspect, however, fled.He was apprehended by the canine and received several bites from the police dog.


The initial investigation showed that the two suspects, one of which was dressed in a suit jacket and tie knocked on the door of the womanís apartment and when she opened the door they forced her back and into the bathroom by gunpoint. They stole a safe from the bedroom and while they were fleeing the scene they were made aware that a neighbor had telephoned the police and they abandoned the safe and fled. They were spotted by Chief Donovan and his canine a short time thereafter.


Detectives are doing a follow up investigation on the incident.The exact apartment number, witness, victimís names and contents of the safe are being withheld at this time pending further investigation.


The suspects were charged with Home Invasion.

Armed Robbery Trends Jewelry Store



On 1/27/2012 shortly before 7PM Raynham Police received a call from the owner of the Trends Jewelry store on Rt. 44 in Raynham. The owner reported that he had telephoned his business in Raynham and that someone had picked up the phone and answered that was not one of his employees working and he felt there was something going on there.Cruisers responded to the store and prior to arriving received a panic alarm.


It was learned that two men wearing clown masks and brandishing a gun forced a customer back into the store as he was leaving. The customer was roughed up, kicked and robbed. One of the store employees was also hit. The masked men forced and employee to fill a sack with silver jewelry and robbed an undisclosed amount of the money from the store as well.


The robbers exited the store out the back door. Witnesses described a black SUV similar to a Lincoln Navigator fleeing the lot.††
