Police Updates Armed
Robbery Trends Jewelry Store
On 1/27/2012 shortly before 7PM Raynham Police received a call from the owner of the Trends Jewelry store on Rt. 44 in Raynham. The owner reported that he had telephoned his business in Raynham and that someone had picked up the phone and answered that was not one of his employees working and he felt there was something going on there. Cruisers responded to the store and prior to arriving received a panic alarm. It was learned that two men wearing clown masks and brandishing a gun forced a customer back into the store as he was leaving. The customer was roughed up, kicked and robbed. One of the store employees was also hit. The masked men forced and employee to fill a sack with silver jewelry and robbed an undisclosed amount of the money from the store as well. The robbers exited the store out the back door. Witnesses described a black SUV similar to a Lincoln Navigator fleeing the lot. Fourth Person Arrested in connection with
