Immediate Release
On Wednesday 3/18/2009 at
approximately 0320 hours Raynham Police were called to Wal-Mart in Raynham
for a reported Unarmed Robbery. Officers Ed Riley and Shawn Sheehan
responded. Once on the scene the officers were told by the victims that two
men had impersonated police officers and had robbed them of their wallets, cell
phones and an IPOD. The victims were a 19 year old male from Bridgewater Ma.
and an 18 year old male from Berkeley Ma. The victims were approached by the
two male suspects as the victims sat in their car. The suspects then asked
the victims if they wanted to “buy weed”. When they said no, they were forced
from the vehicle, pushed around, slapped and made to put their hands on their
vehicle. The suspects identified themselves as Police Officers and took the victims
wallets and phones. The suspects were both over 6 ft tall and around 200
pounds. There was a third suspect driving a Black Isuzu Trooper that was used
as the getaway vehicle. Suspect and Vehicle
