Raynham Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Gas Station

RAYNHAM — Chief James Donovan reports that the Raynham Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a gas station early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 3:46 a.m., Raynham Police received a report of two men who brandished knives and robbed the Seasons Corner Market, 442 New State Highway. The gas station convenience store, which is open 24-hours-a-day, is at the corner of Route 44 and South Street.

The suspects are described as two white males, who were wearing masks, as well as dark-colored sweatshirts and dark-colored pants.

The suspects demanded money from the clerks and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing down the eastbound side of Rt. 44, toward Middleboro, possibly in a black Dodge Charger.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police will be reviewing video surveillance footage from the store to assist in the investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident, or who may have seen something suspicious in the area, is asked to call the Raynham Police Department at 508-824-2716.
